Holy Crap! It was like being transported back in time. I’ve been to a lot of city tours, ghost tours and history tours and this one was probably the best! I was impressed on multiple fronts. The research was in-depth, the presentation was intriguing, and the sense of what it was actually like back in time was mesmerizing. I highly recommend this tour, and company. I especially enjoyed the pearl necklace ghost story. Insane.

Love this tour! Standing in front of these historic buildings listening to these wild stories was awesome! I highly recommend this tour to people like myself who live in Durango and want to learn more about our town or those visiting who want a taste of the old Wild West!

Coal Dust and Oysters is a wonderful tour! Laine has obviously done her research on the intriguing stories of Durango! Being in the same spot as these characters of the past while hearing their stories is a fabulous way to learn some of the colorful history of our town and area! I recommend it for locals and visitors alike! Looking forward to taking the Murder and Mayhem tour!

We had the best time! Laine was so enthusiastic. She made the history and ghosts of Durango come to life. We took the booze and bites tour- highly entertaining and delicious.

What a treat to be able to tour downtown Durango and learn more about its history! I have lived in this area for a long time, but I found myself looking with new eyes at buildings I have seen many times and never noticed before. Laine's expertise and research was evident, and the supporting photo book she provided during the tour added to the experience. While I, myself, didn't see any ghosts on the tour, I certainly got my fill of spooky stories, and thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Durango's more macabre history.
